One of the aviation industry’s most remarkable careers is approaching its conclusion as veteran Joan Prince Crandall prepares to retire after more than 66 years in the skies. The Seattle-based flight attendant, currently the most senior cabin crew member at Delta Air Lines, began her career in 1959 and has witnessed virtually every major transformation in modern commercial aviation. Her story has gained renewed attention ahead of International Flight Attendant Day on May 31.
