The freight technology software providers Tenet Transportation Tech and Crown Data Systems have announced a merger, saying the combined company will serve more than 400 customers and partners across the United States and Canada, delivering technology solutions for first, middle, and last-mile operations.
Miami-based Tenet offers an operating system for cartage, expedited, courier, drayage and LTL carriers. And Buffalo-based Crown is a provider of air freight trucking software.
Following the merger, Tenet CEO Hugh Kirkpatrick will become CEO of the combined company, and Crown President Mike King will continue in that role before transitioning to a strategic advisor role.
The joint company will operate with offices in Buffalo, NY and Atlanta, GA. It will unite their more than 40 employees, and “significantly expand” resources, including a broader partner ecosystem.
